Websites & Digital Presence

Websites that explain what you do and make it easy to get in touch.

We design and build fast, accessible websites for service businesses, and set up the pieces around them: your domain, your Google Business Profile, the search basics and a way for inquiries to reach you.

Who this is for

Service businesses whose website should be doing more of the explaining: contractors, clinics, professional firms and local companies that get most of their work from people who look them up first.

  • The site looks dated on a phone

Most people will see it on a phone first. If it's hard to read there, they move on.

  • Nobody can update it

The person who built it is gone, or every change means a support ticket.

  • It doesn't say what you actually do

Visitors can't tell your services, your area or how to start.

  • Inquiries go nowhere

A contact form sends to an old inbox, or nobody's sure it works.

What we can take on.

Design and build

Page structure, writing or editing, design, development and testing on phones and desktops. Pages built for speed and accessibility.

The pieces around it

Domain setup, coordination with your business email, and a Google Business Profile that matches your site.

Search and inquiries

Clear titles and descriptions, structured data, a sitemap and an inquiry form that's tested end to end before launch.

Written into your proposal before we start

  • Who owns the domain and the main accounts
  • Where the site is hosted and who pays for it
  • Who writes the content
  • How many rounds of revisions are included
  • What, if any, ongoing maintenance is included

A working example

How this site was made.

We'd rather show you than describe it. Everything listed here is true of the page you're reading.

  1. Built ahead of time

Each page is generated as finished HTML when the site is published. Nothing waits on a script to show you the content.

  2. One source for shared details

Navigation, services and coverage live in one place, so a change shows up on every page that uses it.

  3. Motion with an off switch

Page transitions and the floor-plan layers respect the reduce-motion setting on your device.

  4. Checked, not assumed

Keyboard navigation, focus states, form errors and color contrast were tested by hand and with automated checks at five screen widths.

How a website project runs.

  1. Understand

Who you serve, what they ask before calling, and what your current site gets wrong.

  2. Structure

Pages and content outlined first, so design serves the message.

  3. Design and build

Reviewed as working pages on a preview link, not as static mockups.

  4. Test

Phones, desktops, keyboard use and the inquiry form, checked end to end.

  5. Launch

Domain connected, search basics submitted and the accounts handed to you.

Questions

Will a new website get us more customers?

It can help, but nobody can honestly guarantee rankings, traffic or sales. What a good site does reliably is answer the questions people have before they call, load quickly on a phone and make contacting you easy. The rest depends on your market, your reviews and how well people already know you.

Who owns the website and the domain?

We'll recommend that your business owns its domain and holds the main accounts. Ownership, hosting and who pays for what are written into your proposal before work begins.

Do you write the content?

We can. Some clients prefer to write their own and have us edit; others want us to interview them and draft everything. The proposal says which one we're doing and how many rounds of revisions are included.

Can you work on the site we already have?

Sometimes a focused fix is the better choice than a rebuild. We'll look at what you have and tell you which makes more sense.

Do you only work with New Mexico businesses?

No. Website work is done remotely, so we can take on projects across the U.S.

Tell us what your website needs to do.

Share your current site, if you have one, and who you want to reach. We'll suggest a sensible scope.
