Managed IT & Cybersecurity

IT that's handled, with security built into the routine.

For organizations that have outgrown the person who's good with computers. We look after your people, devices and accounts day to day, and we keep a running plan for what needs attention next.

Where we deliver this

Onsite
New Mexico, scheduled by location and scope.
Remote
Selected remote engagements outside New Mexico, by agreement.
Note
Support hours and response targets are written into each agreement.

Signs it's time for outside help

None of these mean anyone did a bad job. They're what happens when IT is everyone's side task.

  • The same problems keep coming back

Printers, Wi-Fi drops, a slow laptop. Each gets fixed just enough to get through the day.

  • Nobody can say who has MFA

Or which computers are updated, or whether a former employee still has access to email.

  • Backups exist, probably

Something is copying files somewhere. Nobody has tried restoring from it.

  • Every vendor has its own support line

Internet, phones, software and copiers, and none of them will talk to each other.

Four responsibilities, kept distinct.

These get blurred in a lot of IT agreements. We separate them so you can see what each one covers and decide what you need.

A

Everyday support

A clear way for your team to ask for help, with hours and response targets in writing. Give us notice of a new hire and their accounts and equipment are ready when they start. When you tell us someone is leaving, we handle the access changes promptly.

  • Help desk and user support
  • Onboarding and offboarding
  • Vendor coordination

B

Protection and security monitoring

Accounts protected with MFA and sensible permissions, devices kept updated, and protection on computers and business email. How alerts are reviewed and acted on, and during which hours, is spelled out separately.

  • Identity, MFA and access reviews
  • Endpoint and email protection
  • Patching and update schedules

C

Backup and recovery

Backup isn't automatically part of every agreement. Where it's included, we document what's protected, where the copies live and how recovery is tested. Where it isn't, we'll tell you what we found and what closing the gap would cost.

  • Backup review and coordination
  • Restore testing, where backup is in scope
  • Recovery planning

D

Planning ahead

A running list of what you own, what's aging out and what's worth budgeting for, reviewed with you on a schedule so renewals and replacements aren't surprises.

  • Equipment and license tracking
  • Refresh and upgrade planning
  • Multi-location standards

Not included unless agreed in writing: software development, compliance certification or audit sign-off, and support for line-of-business software owned by another vendor. We coordinate with that vendor instead.

How we take over IT.

  1. Assess

Users, devices, accounts, network and backups reviewed, then explained to you in plain language.

  2. Propose

A written scope and monthly price, plus any one-time cleanup that should happen first.

  3. Onboard

Your environment documented, the most important gaps closed and your team shown how to reach support.

  4. Run and review

Day-to-day support, with scheduled reviews of security, aging equipment and upcoming costs.

What affects the price

  • Number of users and devices
  • Number of locations and how often someone needs to be onsite
  • How much cleanup is needed before ongoing support begins
  • The security tools and licenses your environment needs
  • The support hours and response targets you choose

Useful to have ready

  • A rough count of users, computers and locations
  • Whether you use Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
  • Who you call today for internet, phones and key software
  • Any security requirements from insurers or clients

Questions

What hours is support available?

Support hours and response targets are set in your agreement before work starts, so you know exactly what to expect. If you need after-hours coverage, we'll discuss what that involves and what it costs.

Is security monitoring the same as help desk coverage?

No. Protection tools on your devices and email can raise alerts at any hour. Who reviews those alerts, how quickly and what happens next are defined separately in your agreement. Help desk hours don't automatically extend to security monitoring, and the reverse is also true.

Can you work alongside our internal IT person?

Yes. Some organizations keep someone in-house for day-to-day requests and use us for security, projects or a second set of hands. We'll agree on who handles what so nothing falls between the two.

Can you promise we won't be breached?

No one can honestly promise that. We reduce the common causes, like reused passwords, missing updates and backups nobody has tested, and we help you put a recovery plan in place in case something gets through.

Do you support Macs?

Tell us what you run. We'll confirm during the assessment what we can support well instead of promising every platform up front.

Find out where you stand.

Start with a conversation about your team, your devices and what keeps breaking. We'll tell you plainly what we'd fix first.
